There's no sign of IBOC today on WJR 760 Detroit. Did they give it up?
A local dropped it a while ago, also Clear Channel, so maybe it's policy? -- Ron Hardin On the internet, nobody knows you're a jerk. |

"lsmyer" wrote in message ... Maybe that explains what I've been hearing on WTAM lately. For the past few nights, I've heard a weird warbling sound at times. Last night, it was gone. Since WTAM is also a Clear Channel station, maybe that explains why they sounded normal last night. I hope the sound stays away. If it was after 6 PM, that is not, at least legally, IBOC/HD operation. |

"lsmyer" wrote in message ... This was after 10:00 p.m. when I was listening to WTAM. Probably not HD, as not in 6 AM to 6 PM or sunrise to sunset, whichever gives more, legal period or in the experimental period. Clear is one of the cleanest technical operators, so doubt a violation here. |

The first year CD players were out, in the US less than 10,000 were sold. |
