The USS Hornet Amateur Radio Station has aquired several Harris RF-287 Remote Control boxes. I
believe these were used by US Navy Ships for remote speaker-handset stations. I don't know what type of transceivers they were used with. I haven't found any information about them by googling. I am looking for a schematic. The box is about 4in. high by 6 in. wide by 4 in. deep and contains a speaker, audio ower amplifier, power supply regulator, two relays, two small audio transformers, a switch and a volume control. Connection to the transceiver or patch panel is through a 10 pin MS connector. Does anyone have a schematic they can share before I have to trace it out? Thanks and 73. Ken Fowler, KO6NO |
