Basically, the same outstanding sensitivity, decent selectivity and acceptable audio in both. I think all four models are essentially the same receiver design. The ergonomics of the E5/G5 are probably worth the extra expenditure, especially if you can snag one of the G5s going for about $70 right now on eBay. Back to playing with my new E1... Mike |
