Can you replace the vibrator in an AN/GRR-5 military receiver with a

Try it and see. I can't think why it wouldn't work, and the substitutes
are not all that expensive.

Call Antique Automobile Radio, Inc. at 800-933-4926 and ask them if they
have a vibrator sub that has been tested in the GRR-5.
