Can you replace the vibrator in an AN/GRR-5 military receiver with a
solid-state substitute? I have heard a couple of different opinions. Thanks. Phil Nelson |

I can't think why it wouldn't work, and the substitutes are not all that expensive. Call Antique Automobile Radio, Inc. at 800-933-4926 and ask them if they have a vibrator sub that has been tested in the GRR-5. --scott -- "C'est un Nagra. C'est suisse, et tres, tres precis." |
