Okay, I just got an R8, and this steps things up several notches from previous receivers (DAMN what a radio... all it's missing is the FM band in stereo). So I have a few questions. Checking the noise floor, the meter shows almost down to S1 at some frequencies. Is that reading reliable/meaningful? The antenna is a 150' long wire, coax into the house. I'd like to run audio into my sound card, but it's too sensitive for line out. How do people convert/attenuate/whatever the signal? I'm getting **** not listed at PrimeTime (including those number stations). Are there other resources? This imports EIBI database, shows MUF and grey line. The price is right: http://www.radioexplorer.com.ru/en/ |

See if you can find the executable for that function and save it, that's what I did with the grayline generator in HamRadioDeluxe. Not necessary. I have this one up and running. http://www.linuxsoft.cz/screenshot_img/1899-a.jpg |
