I caught the pirate station Barnyard Radio broadcasting for the second
time in the last 24 hours. They were on 6925 between 0200 - 0215 UTC. I tuned in at 0200 to a program that was already running. They had a rambling recording of a man critiquing the logic behind the war on terrorism, with light background music. Slowly the music faded out and was replaced with the crowd noise from an anti-war protest that eventually drowned out the man speaking. Followed by some music that I can only describe as thrasher metal. Man with a canned ID and off at 0215 UTC. SIO-454, pretty strong, not local, but not too far away. (Bryant-KY, Eton E1, July5) |
