Last time I was on the low bands was with a HT-40 + HQ-110 or TR4 - If I wanted to look for a small used inexpensive low band rig that could be used at home, in the car, or with AC/12V power on Boy Scout campouts any suggestions...... My challenge would be not having a great antenna... just something tossed up at a Boy Scout outing so my concern is antenna matching a hunk of wire ![]() Phil - WA9TKA - Chicago |
