I have looked at some of the photo's to see if he had a radio there and to see
what he might have used.

I imagine him to have been a toter.

He had DBS satellite; usually a World Service stream available on those
things (at least in the more civilized regions).

He didn't tote that blood dialysis machine (whatever it is called)
around long enough.
