/////////////////////////////////////////// FCC Report 5/1: When Contingent Applications Go Awry In Suburban Atlanta Posted: 01 May 2016 12:00 PM PDT https://radioinsight.com/blog/headli...urban-atlanta/ Back in 2009, Radio Training Network's "93.3 The Joy-FM" WVFJ-FM Manchester GA, Rome Radio Partners' 93.5 WSRM Coosa GA and Cox Media Urban AC "Kiss 104.1" WALR-FM Greenville GA filed contingent applications to modify their facilities. The moves would see WVFJ-FM change city-of-license to Greenville while upgrading from a Class C1 to C0, WSRM move to a new tower site with a directional antenna to protect WVFJ-FM, and WALR-FM downgrade from a C0 to C1 while changing city-of-license to Palmetto. After a series of application modifications and objections the FCC has finally ruled on what can proceed. |
