Hi Larry,
Audioarts make a great console IMO. I am installing a D7012 right now and am still impressed with it (given a better budget though, I'd take an actual Wheatstone everytime). Speaking directly to the D16 - do you have more sources than input channels on the console? This board offers some amazing operational flexibility, but loses maintenance-friendly modular inputs in the process (it appears to have a unified faceplate). If you are not overwhelmed with sources or require remapping your I/O (i.e. don't need a router), then I'd reccomend adding $1500 to the price and going to the D70 which offers much more I/O flexibility and modular channel strips. Or, you could spend lots more and get an actual router and a console that is merely a control surface. Ultimately, that is the most future-proof solution IMO. -Darren P.S. I believe that Steve at RPC has mentioned your project to me. So, greetings from 70-miles north... "Lawrence Berger" wrote in message ... Anyone using this broadcast console? Likes/dislikes?
