Default VFO on Ts-820s

I fell victim to ebay. I bought a ts-820s with VFO. I just received it and
the VFO/remote connector is mangled on the rig. No jumper was included. Are
these connectors easy to find or am I SOL. Also, can I start it up without the
mic? I need to purchase one of those as well.

The VFO plug (9-pin / size & layout of miniature tube) that fits the
connector is still available from Pacific Parts
(I believe the same one is used on the TS-520 )

Purchased 2 about 10 weeks ago.

Now you know why E-bay is known as the home of the greedy and the ignorant.

Pacific Parts has what you need.

73 and good luck,
