My DX-398's FM just died. I get nada nothing, LW, MW, SW are ok but
FM is totally gone. Anyone else have this problem or have any ideas
on a fix.

Ok after sitting all night FM works again. Whaaa? Bizarre.

This is a common problem with micro-processor controled radios.

Read a few of the messages at the RadioShack DX-398 / Sangean ATD-909
eGroup at YAHOO! and you will get the picture.

Generally the "FIX" is two things:

* Pressing the "Reset" Button.

* * Removing the Batteries.

* * * I guess you have identified the third most common 'cure' . . .
- Yesterday it did not work.
- - Today it does work.
