If you spend most of your time listening to programs broadcast by major
international broadcasters, the SAT800 might be best. If you chase reception of
weaker DX stations, military or aircraft USB transmissions, or hams, the R75
will unquestionably, be better.

Overall, the R75 is far more sensitive, but lacks a selectable sync that can
make hour-after-hour program listening more comfortable.

If you're a DXer, then you should obviously go for the R-75.

If you're a broadcast listener,l then you should go for the R-75 plus
a reasonably priced external speaker.

The R-75 and the Satellit are close enough in price that the vastly
greater capabilities of the R-75 make this an easy choice, at least in
my view.

enjoy AM/MW Talk Radio and FM Music Listening; then consider
the Grundig Satellit 800 M.

If your are a primarily interested in Shortwave and HAM Radio
"DXing" and not very interested in AM/MW Talk Radio and FM
Music Listening; then consider the Icom IC-R75 Receiver.

If you still can not decide - Buy Both ) ~ RHF
