Default New Zealand Air Force on 6721...

03 Nov 02:14 UTC 6721 kHz USB - "Kenya 82" requests radio check from "Five
Squadron". Then, asks for an update regarding the "Uniform Sierra
Elections". An update is given: "Bush has 102 Electoral College votes,
versus 77 Electoral College votes for Kerry". Following this, two radio
operators have a discussion on how electoral votes work, and finish off both
agreeing that they hope Kerry will win!

I heard the "Kenya 82" flight checking HF radios, on the ground at Whenuapai
Air Base, on 8974. "Airforce Auckland" gave the primary frequency as 6721,
secondary 9025.

6721 has been very active today.

Mark.

Auckland, New Zealand.

I'll give that one a listen along with 9032. That one fellow is due in a few
days down there in Antarctica, hopefully he'll get the antennas set up again and
be on 14243.

Thanks for your contact down there Mark.
