I rescued this Ameco AC-1 transmitter from a junk pile at a hamfest several
years ago with the intention of restoring it. When I was first licensed as WN9RCF in 1966, I saw the ads for the AC-1 and dreamt about getting one to go along with my Knight-Kit Span Master. Well, it only took me 30 years, but I did acquire the Ameco AC-1. But reality has set in and I just don't have the time nor the inclination to do this little jewel justice. I haven't touched it since I brought it back from the hamfest, so I've decided to put it up for auction so that someone else might have it to work on. Here's a link to the Ameco AC-1 Auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ADME:B:LC:US:1 |
