Default GR 587-C Speaker Filter ?

If anyone has any experience with the GR 587-C Speaker Filter for the 245
tubes circa 1929, I'd like to hear about it. I never heard or saw the
bugger before this site.

I have no experience, but the purpose of the device is quite obvious... think
parafeed.
