Here's a quick one, and I don't know the answer to it, but I hope
someone does... how many working prototypes of the Satellit 900 did Grundig make, and where are they now? I know they made at least one - and I'm curious who has it. Maybe it will show up on eBay some day... that would be a fun auction to watch! -The Dog |

I have it and I'm using it to create shade for my HF-150.

I do not know where the radio prototypes are stored.
Best, Joe Probably in a nuclear blast-proof bunker hundreds of feet beneath the earth's surface. Steve |

A couple of years after those satellit radios came on the marketplace,I
read somewhere on the internet those satellit's are not as good as some folks say they are.The ONLY way I would buy one would be if I bought one at the Goodwill thrift store (or similar junk store) for only a few dollars. (pocket change) I really hope though I never see one because I don't like and never have liked that Stupid satellit name. What in the hell were those folks thinking? cuhulin |
