Good afternoon everyone
I'm looking at the bearcat 800. Some people say it works great listening to c-phones other people say that frequency is pretty well scrambled. Can someone please elaborate on this? Thank you very much |

If by c-phone, you mean CELL PHONES, 99.9% of all c-phones are DIGITAL. The
800 doesn't do digital. Some c-phone services are still analog and I have heard a few now and then. You only hear one side of the conversation. If you had a digital scanner that didn't have the forbidden frequencies blocked, you wouldn't hear anything anyway as the signals are encrypted. All in all, it's a pretty boring and MOSTLY illegal endeavor... "Daniel Rzonca" wrote in message news:GtAbe.4034$pk5.1189@fed1read02... Good afternoon everyone I'm looking at the bearcat 800.
