I just repaired (yet another) Sony SW-1
with defective caps in the audio circuit.
All well in that regard.
On power up I have noticed that
the unit is displaying frequencies 10khz
low from the actually frequency.

EG: Local station on 1070 is displaying (or receiving)
on 1060khz.

Any ideas ladies and gents?

These old radios are almost not worth working on...

Don't know how many 80s vintage Sony electronics I have lying around here
that all act very strange. I'm sure it's all due to cap problems.
