A little while ago Geraldo Rivera on Fox tv news was talking to some law
enforcement officiers in Texas about them not being on the same
frequencies and a lack of communications.Last year Mississippi spent a
lot of money on new radio equipment and scanners so all of the law
enforcement folks in Mississippi will all be on the same radio
frequencies.Last year during the hurricane season the Sheriff
departments and Police departments had some problems with communicating
with each other.The new radio equipment and scanners are helping to
solve that problem.Money very well spent and it will help to save lives.
