Which Serial Numbers correspond to the "most refined" Drake R8B ?

I have a 1992 R8. I am considering an R8B, but:

I understand there were some refinements or improvements during the
production lifetime of the "B"...

I know there are some very knowledgable people here who could list the
changes and when they occurred.

I have DAGS but come up dry.

Some links, perhaps? Some serials to avoid?
