Too bad you missed 'em. But you really don't need a tower or amp (altho
they certainly help). I'm in their log 5 times on RTTY and CW, one time
with the amp off, all to a 20 foot high dipole (due to zoning and
subdivision covenant limitations). Also, tougher to work them early in
the game when the pile ups are a mile deep. Try them towards the end of
their stay--it gets quite a bit easier.
