FM . . . . . 88 . . 94 . 100 . . 106 . 108 . . . . . MHz

Why those kind of markings? Foreign market radio?

Superadio II is marked like that as well.

I think those are fairly standard markings, although many radios skip
the 10x notation these days.

I guess you're talking about the X10kHz stuff. It's the foreign markets
that have 9kHz channel spacing, so leaving off the last digit makes
even less sense for them!

Look at a 60's/70's era "pocket transistor" AM radio. There's a little
thumbwheel for the dial and there really is not room to write out the
full frequency to the last kHz. A common notation was to write some of
the leading digits bigger than others (although that was always
confusing to me, especially because it was often done inconsistently.)

I think radios such as Lenoxx Sound and GPX and Sound Design (although
they probally are made by the same factory/company) are much underated
by some people.The ones I own are all very good,in my opinion.I once
bought a Sangean 909 AM/FM/Shortwave radio from www.ccrane.com
company.I remember inside of the back of the radio where the batteies go
there was two tiny toggle/flip switches.One for 10KHz and one for 9KHz.I
have known for many,many years 9KHz is for some foreign
markets/countries.
