Hello! I just happened accross this page by accident and it's nice to
see people attempt to write haiku. Haiku is a 17 syllable poem based
on a 5-7-5 syllable format. For more information about Haikus, go to
http://www.toyomasu.com/haiku/#whatishaiku . There you will find more
information on how to write good haiku. Here is my attempt;
As I scan the bands,
I hear the voices of Hams.
I LOVE this hobby.

Key up the big rig.
Fool for long wire, high power,
Acch! An RF burn!
There must be some meaning to life. Haiku. However, this pitiful

Humphrey likes it not,
Mike spews pathos, not wit.
Yawn, Mike doesn't care.
But bandwidth, Mike wastes,
with words of no taste,
I do swear.
5-6-5 syllables, Dewey..
Gotcha, 'cept'n that the Japanese language doesn't really structure itself
with the Western gramatical concept of 'syllables'.
