Actually, being a ham myself, I find the 10-10 club very disgusting. All
they seem to want to do from my observations, is collect numbers! If you
don't have one, they won't talk. I was even told once by one of them, if
you
don't have a 10-10 number, I don't have time to talk to you. WHAT THE HELL
KIND OF FUN IS THAT? That turned me OFF of even thinking about joining
that
organization.

I never got the point of it.
I already have a licence. A nice unique identifier.
The idea seems to be to sell the "exclucivity" to the suckers, to the
benifit of those collecting the dues.


Of course RACES and ARES are guilty of similar things, but in slightly
different ways.
