Same here ref 9v battery. It eats them alive. When you start
hearing double beeps for no good reason thats the indicator to
get a new battery in there. Make sure leave the AC switch on
while your doing the battery replacement so you dont have to
load up 200 chnls again.

I had a 2004 once years ago. The memory back-up battery would last for a
very long time.
