Skip Winscan and Trunkstar, neither of which work very well. Use IDTracker
instead for recording.

I have winscan and it has a button marked record audio to wav file.
I don't know what I am doing wrong but I can't seem to find the audio wave
files.
I can record to a recorder, but can't seem to get it to record to a wave
file on my computer.
Suggestions welcomed

That only works if you're recording trunked frequencies. I like to use
Audadcity for general recording off the scanner.
