Then I played around with magnets behind it. It would go momentarily crazy and
then settle down. After I got through fooling around, I saw that the ranges
were back to where they used to be. :-)

The tuning capacitor is right under the flipstand, so if you have your
fingers wrapped around the radio, it will detune. I like the radio
but wish the tuning range on all bands was 50 kHz higher.
