I thought they were Datsun-1200's. I never saw a car disintegrate like
that one. The front shock towers would collapse until the tires were
rubbing on the inside of the wheel wells. If you tried to weld what
was
left of the sheet metal, it would vaporize in a puff of smoke. All of
this was because the Japanese experimented with recycled steel by
laminating (compressing) it into new sheet metal. The problem was they
didn't get the trapped air and water out of the layers with the
compressing process. The cars literally rusted from the inside out.
This radical Datsun 1200 theory conflicts with the now well established
theory of Vega Martiian origins. Let's conider the familiar Martian
monument to the greatest egotistical phoney in the universe. While it
has been long assumed the face at Cydonia is an image of Richard C.
Hoagland, my studies have revealed it is actually a monument to the
father of the Vega, John Z. Delorean. This fact can be confirmed by
anyone who can make out the inscription on the base of the monument --
"There is no ice on the Martian snowcaps".
