I have a DT-200V and have no complaints. This is my second one. The first
one I had for 5-6 years and it never failed me until I dropped it one too
many times. The second one I have had for two years. The drops were due to
my clumsiness and no fault of the clip or radio itself. I am amazed it took
the number of shocks it did before the final hit. When it came time to
replace it I did look around and found nothing that matched it (size,
feature, sensitivity, built-in speaker.) I did not know of the Sony that
was mentioned by someone else and I can not speak to the other Sangeans as
no one carries them in my area any more, so maybe they are more sensitive,
but as I mentioned I can't complain about the DT-200V. I primarily listen
to FM and am able to pull in the NPR station 50-60 miles away. I use mine
for fishing, walking the dog, running, sitting at the mall while the wife
shops. Even have been known to use it gatherings when what's on the radio
is more interesting than the ceremonies taking place. I pretty much take it
with me where ever I go.

Larry, I'm not too proud to admit that I have on occasion used my
Sangean to listen to sports talk during late night Christmas Eve
services. I place the radio in my shirt pocket underneath my coat and
run the earbuds up my neck, then I don a knit cap which I don't
remove. I am a sinner and will surely burn:)
