I installed one when finishing this radio room of mine...Its a number 12
wire in a loop configuration around the inside frame of a 3 by 4 foot window
fed in the center of one side....I would have used smaller wire but the #12
is all I had handy at the time....It works great as a "bad weather"
shortwave antenna and also as an FM radio antenna. I used staples to install
the antenna and then installed the wood trim for the window over top of it
leaving the two ends hanging about 3 inches from the right side to solder
coax on. My windows are wood but clad in plastic outside....I dont know how
it would work near an aluminum frame window?? If you could get a small
wire...a number 22 or so around the inside of the glass of a window I'd say
it would work just as well?

Not "Windom antenna"
Anyone use (with success) a simple wire around a window (attached around
the border on the glass-side, indoor)?
I have problem to install an outdoor antenna.
Thanks
