This is the Tecsun R-919. Passport reviewed it in the 2004 edition and
said it was the best of the cheap analog-with-digital-display radios ...
but that isn't saying much as none of them even rate 2 stars. It's
probably as good as the R-818, Kaide R-9702, or the Jwin and Coby models
around the same price; perhaps a little better. The downside to me, for
pocket use, would be the fact that the telescopic antenna sits in a stiff
collar that does not collapse. This means something is always jutting out
of the top even if you aren't using the antenna.
