Usenet was created young men with big egos. The flame war is the logical
result.

Here's what you might do:

Start your own group. rec.radio.shortwave.moderated

Write the sort of posts you think should be here. Concise, logical posts
are worth considering. Whiney posts are the usenet equivelent of a "Kick
Me" sign.

Get your own usenet linear and out shout them.




but I am trying to think of differences between RRS and the old lousy
CB days that were so famous because the FCC gave up trying to bring
sanity and order to it. it just seems that RRS is the modern version
of the worst of old CB !


There's more channels on RRS than there is on CB.

Worldwide propagation is better here.

There's no TVI here.

Avoiding the BS is easier here than on CB. Except for people who need to
read every post.
