"Free speech" is a defense against police repression. If someone from
NAMBLA was to get up in Chicago and start making POLITICAL speech
about how people like him were being wrongly persecuted the speech
would be protected by the First and Fourteenth amendments of the U.S.
Constitution and the Little First Amendment in the Illinois
Constitution.
