Question:if something was sent out from RadioLabs on the May 6th and it's
already in the UPS tracking as to be here on May13th (Thurs.)......is there a
chance it could be here by the 11th? The way it states now it would be seven
days.
My experience is that UPS packages NEVER show up before the delivery
date reported by their tracking system. I've had a couple show up a day
or two after the original estimated delivery date, but never earlier.
In the last year or so their system has been extremely accurate. If it
shows the package has actually made it to a UPS facility, this time of
year I'd give it a 98% chance of showing up on the specified date.
There are usually delays around Christmas time and there is occasionally
a weather delay for ground packages during snow season, but the rest of
the year they're almost always on time.
Several years ago, UPS had a strike - prior to that, packages would
sometimes get delivered early - now, even if it shows up at the
distribution center a couple days early, they'll sit on it because you
didn't pay extra for faster delivery.
A couple weeks ago I got a fedex package a day early.
