You can use that excuse for any war protester.


I guess that's true, but how many have the "distinction" of having
their words played to POWs under extreme conditions. Does that also
come under the heading of "protesting a war"? See, that's the thing
with the Senator; the more you try to rationalize his conduct, the
harder it gets.
