And no.....Power lines DONT show up on aviation charts no matter how high
over valleys....abandoned or not...planes have no bizz in valleys but if

any consolation while these same lines were "hot" they took out a
helicopter
once LOL!

What a coincidence. An old friend of mine was lucky enough to live next to
one of those abandoned power lines. Worked alot of great DX until one day
the power company was running field training for new linemen and reactivated
that section of the line so that the the new guys could get some meaningful
experience.

It fried over $15,000 worth of his radio gear and burned down half of his
house.
