The above extensive review should peek your interest. Although I
haven't owned this type of loop before I am seriously considering it
for my noisy RF environs. I only need to figure out how to get it
into and between the attic rafters and mount it on a small rotor.
Height is not that important to a small loop. It will pick up more long
distance signal and even less local noise the higher up it is placed so
like most any antenna higher is better. This antenna will work better
close to the ground over most types with the exception of an antennas
like a Beverage that is designed to work near ground.
