Many years ago when I worked a short stint at
Rat Shack, whenever the Minimus-7's went on
sale, hams and SWLs came out of the woodwork
to get them.

Yep, the Optimus speakers sound great, I use them myself but the
unpowered
version. Be advised that Radio Shack is now carrying RCA brand,
though I'm
told they are the same and that RCA manufactured the Optimius brand
also.
