UNIDENTIFIED. 7530, 1855-1903*(?), Nov. 25, Vernacular, Caught this
while trying for Africans, early afternoon at my location. Nothing at
tune-in until Kor`an-like chanting poking thru the static at 1857,
brief announcer at 1900 followed by martial music until 1903 when the
signal either signed off or slipped back under the static. Very
weak/poor. Maybe R. Hargeysa, Somalia? Will try this one again as the
days grow shorter (Scott R. Barbour, Jr., Intervale, NH, R75, 200 ft

I had a chance to check 7530 just prior to 1900 today and noted the same thing
that Scott Barbour did on Nov. 25. Seemingly Koranic recitations at 1857, brief
announcement around 1900 followed by possible anthem. Carrier went off at 1903.
Signal was very weak. 2 December 2004.
I sent Glenn a speculation that it might be Pakistan which is supposedly
scheduled to Europe till 1900* in Urdu.
Can someone in Europe check this frequency to see if it might be Pakistan,
Somalia, or ?
Per Noel Green in the UK this is Radio Pakistan. A // frequency to check would be
9400.
Unfortunately not Hargeysa. I was correct in my assumption that it was Pakistan,
based upon the program content and s/off sequence.
