At the firm "Almost All Digital Electronics" you can buy a $60 module that
will provide digital frequency readout to nearly any radio. At least one of
these modules provides for resolution down to 1 Hz, but are selectable
invarious increments like 10 Hz, 100 Hz, and 1 kHz. The offsets can be any
value up to 40 MHz in 10 Hz steps.

I just finished this project and thought some of you might like
to see it. It is a small 7 digit offsetable frequency counter
that will operate up to 50 MHz. Resolution is 10Hz.
I designed it to be radio friendly.

If you find any problems with the web page let me know.

Is this the kind of thing one could hook up to, say, an S-350 with a
broken
display?
