The US has demonstrated a similar lack of concern for shortwave radio
listners. I'd say we have a lot in common. I refer to broadband over
powerlines. Where I live, the apartments all come with DSL if you can
afford it, and no outdoor antennas allowed. That sure makes a mess out of
shortwave. I can't imagine what it does to an amateur trying to
communicate.
