Monty,
What do you think of a 486dx100 laptop for doing just some ham programing.
Radius radios to be exact.?

Comapred to the 279.00 ~ 379.00
Repair Bills due to corrupted code
plugs from clone rib boxes that have
rechargable batteries, that price for
a Facotry Motorola Rib box and
Cable is cheap so long as its
fully functional.

When programming High-Tier Motorola
Radios like the CDM/Pro Series, Astro's
HT/MTS2000's we always use a Fresh
Battery to make sure everything is OK,
and a Stable Programming Platform is a
must !
