His is the 1/2 size G5RV, i.e. 51 feet total length, designed for
28 MHz. Terrible for 4 MHz operation.

All you have to do, to obtain the best possible mutliband dipole for your
back yard, is to erect a high dipole of any length which conveniently fits
into your backyard, fed via a 450-ohm or 600-ohm transmission line, of no
particular lemgth.


He wants to use his internal autotuner. Your idea won't work for that.
