I've always believed in what I call the "Philadelphia Choke Syndrome".
The profession sports teams there sometimes manage to make the
playoffs, but then choke in the end with a few notable exceptions.


Nevertheless, its nice to see you confirm the
mentality of the town.

Indeed,your locals would offer the only malady
for the town...burned to the ground.

They are no more "my" locals than the people in Miami are "your"
locals. But I was surprised that as losers, the townies were fairly
orderly and subdued.
