Unless you're an experienced rigger, I don;t think there any safe way to
be on a 45 degree slope.
Safer suggestion:
Buy a few pieces of chain link fence 'top rail' and guy up a mast
instead. Much safer, and easily lowered when modification or repair is
necessary.

I purchased a ScanMaster 12 - 1200Mhz, small base antenna for the roof of
my apt (house type). I'm hooking it up to my Dual band, trunking, portable
scanner for receiving better than the rubber duck.
I purchased a 5 ft mounting pole wtih the Antenna and cable. I'm ready to
climb out the window in 20 degrees cause I'm so excited to raise it.
I also have a Discone Diamand I want to put up there.
BUT It's a sharp angled roof. 45 degrees? I need to find something to
hang from or nail into to stand on to give me leverage while I work on the
slope.
I have 25ft safety static rope, I know a some boy scout knots, a have few
steel carabanines, I'm ready to climb out the 3rd floor window.
Excited...nervous.
Any advice (besides good luck)
thanks
