Nonsense! I'm in my sixties and I just bought new equipment in the
last 6 months. If your ears (or even one ear, as in my case) still
work you're not too old to listen.

....and I'm amused for a different reason. I went to see a good friend
of mine Wednesday night last week, and when we were making the plans I
mentioned hearing something on the scanner. He said "SCANNER! What are
you, 60 years old?"
