He is on an island in the South Pacific. "CNMI" means Confederation of
Northern Marianas Islands. He gets a lot of stuff that I can't get in
California, although to be fair much of what he gets is broadcast in the
wee hours CA time. Reception of Asians is generally better on the west
coast of US/Canada and of course on Pacific Islands. As a consolation
prize, you guys have better reception of Africa and the Mideast.

Actually, Africa is king here in the early morning hours and in the
early evenings, the Brazilians rule. I don't think I've *ever* been
more fortunate in a job assignment/dx location!
