Do you have a Two-Way commercial radio maintenance shop in your area?
If so, I'd stop by, with your loading coil in hand, and ask when if they
have a replacment whip that would work. You might be able to get one free,
but bear in mind commercial frequencies are generally just above the
amateur radio bands, so if they give you a used whip, make sure it is the
proper length for your particular loading coil.
