I just can't get myself to spend $150 on a single conversion radio. It
was hard enough to spend $100 on the S350 that I have. Don't get me
wrong, my S350 is my "sitting on the back porch at night while drinking
beer" radio and I enjoy using it a great deal, but with the sub $100
stuff that Degen is putting out these days, I think that asking $150
for that kind of performance is pushing it.

I agree and I like the S350. I never owned one but was checking it out in
the Sharper Image. I like the way the radio feels and the tuning knob has a
nice feel to it. As Mark pointed out most people want or like a tuning knob
on the radio. They just seem to go hand in hand.
But I don't think it's worth $150 for these extra options. I'm considering
picking up an "open box" S350 for like $60 on Ebay.
That's what I think they are worth new. No more then $80. Now I'll wait till
reviews come out for the new one just to see what gives.
